Louisiana Real Estate Commission

The Louisiana Real Estate Commission (LREC) is the primary regulatory body estabished by law over real estate activity in the state of Louisiana. The primary purpose of the Louisiana Real Estate Commission is to protect the public by adopting rules and bylaws in order to enforce the License Law and Law of Agency.  The LREC serves as the main licensing authority over real estate licenses in the state of Louisiana, as well as regulation over licensee education requirements as well as Timeshares and related activities.
